THE SUCCESSFUL FISHERMAN

At times I’m sorely puzzled, and I wonder quite a bit

What it is that really happens, when our earthly spirits flit.

Will there still be class distinction ? Will there still be rich and poor ?

Or will Peter see no difference when we reach the final door ?

Now Peter was a fisherman when he was just a lad

But finished up by being Pope – he didn’t do so bad.

So if his memory serves him well, we have the right to hope

There is a chance for all of us – both Fisherman and Pope.
